I gained a love and appreciation for travel and adventure at a very young age.I can remember being only about 5-6 years old and my parents putting me on a plane by myself from New Jersey to visit my Uncle in California.
Just a couple years later I attended sleep away camp, away from everything and everyone I knew at 8 years old.
When I was 16 my Dad put me on a service and culture trip to Ecuador that forever changed my perspective.
I spent time from high school through college in Spain, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand.
In 2003 after a 5 week romp through Europe I set off for 27 months in Bangladesh in the Peace Corps. From 2003-2006 I spent time not only in “The ‘Desh,” but travelled extensively through Thailand, Burma, Nepal, and India.
In 2006 after a short stint in Hawaii, I bought a 6 month plane ticket to visit Brasil for the first time. Since then I have visited in 2014, 2016, and now in 2017 make my next trip, my longest since my first 10 years ago.
Adventure, travel, journeying is now in my blood. It is not simply wanderlust, it is a passion for learning, discovery, challenge, searching. Cultural immersion is another level of human experience which forces the brain to expand, develop new neural pathways, evolve…
I look forward to sharing this journey with the world. This is what I live for. This is my purpose. This is why I am.
